Alison's EAT-FREE Cooking Lessons Flyer © 1987

In 1987
, Alison*s was born with the introduction of EAT-FREE Cooking Lessons, Recipes and Products. For almost 10 years, I worked on this project involving FOOD & COOKING.

I taught health food cooking both privately and in schools; I then created
Alison's Muffins, an allergy-free product (wheat-free, diary-free, sugar- free, etc); I baked, marketed and distributed it to stores including Quantum Leap and Sally's in Queens, NY as well as on Long Island to Bob's Natural Foods in Long Beach, NY (formerly Grand Division).

I also lectured on nutrition and taught cooking in many Continuing Education Programs on Long Island, at The Natural Gourmet Institute for Food & Health in NYC, at Jandi's Health Food Store on Long Island, at many libraries and other venues on Long Island. Shown here is the first flyer I designed for Alison's EAT-FREE Cooking Lessons in 1987.

Today, I eat guided by The
Food Systems Synergy Study* principles or FOOD RULES. I am inspired to cook and create recipes for EAT-FREE: HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS Food Systems Synergy Study Recipes** or FOOD RECIPES which will be available here soon!

* Alison's Food Systems Synergy Study results came from combining a variety of nutritional approaches in a way that can be of greater value, more balanced, and enjoyable than a single system of eating may provide.
** Alison's Food Systems Synergy Study Recipes are made by combining ingredients from a variety of nutritional approaches to result is something balanced, healthy and delicious!

*An 'heirloom project' is one that takes the fruit of previously produced work, extracts its essence and cultivates it anew to bear an even more delectable fruit. The use here of the term 'heirloom' is derived from its use in reference to a very delicious, special type of tomato, grown only through classic breeding practices.
